Experience thorough and comprehensive testing spread across multiple sessions, totaling approximately 6-8 hours. What is Wilson Reading Certification?For a professional to have Wilson Reading certification, they must complete a 3-day introductory workshop, master's level coursework, and a 1:1 year-long practicum that is supervised by a Wilson Trainer. All LD Expert reading tutors are fully certified through Wilson.

What are some characteristics of dyslexia?-Difficulty with rhyming -Difficulty with rapid naming of letter sounds and names -Difficulty with reading and sounding out words -Tendancy to avoid reading -Letter confusion and reversals -Strength with auditory delivery of information Dyslexia is a chronic condition, but treatment is very effective! Orton-Gillingham based program such as the Wilson Reading System, which is what LD Expert uses, are scientifically proven to be the best treatment for Dyslexia.

Are there any apps for dyslexia?Yes. There are some apps that work well for students with dyslexia such as Learning Ally and Read & Write (chrome extension). However, explicit and individualized instruction delivered by a certified professional will get you more bang for your buck when it comes to seeing progress with your student.
