Schedule consultation

This free 30-minute consultation is held via Zoom. We will dive into understanding your school’s needs and preferences, but we also want you to get to know us. We'll answer all of your questions and provide you with details about our services, teacher qualifications, pricing, scheduling options, data tracking, and more.

Sign contract

Should you decide to move forward, we will begin the onboarding process. LD Expert prioritizes professionalism and ease. Our streamlined process allows for digital signatures, saving you time and paperwork. With just a few clicks, you can securely finalize agreements, ensuring a smooth transition into our services.

Set schedule

We take pride in our flexibility and adaptability when it comes to scheduling. Our team of teachers is available to accommodate students during the school day. We understand the complexity of bell schedules, school calendars, and specials. We have the flexibility and availability to meet your students' needs.

Begin lessons

After receiving your signed contract, lessons start with teachers sending an introductory email including Zoom log-in instructions. We will mail materials directly to the school for student use. All you need to provide the student is a quiet, private place for lessons and a computer. Let us do the rest!

Monitor progress

We use a convenient online system that serves as a centralized hub for billing, scheduling, data tracking, and communication. This allows school staff to access important information like lesson summaries and assessment results when needed. After each lesson, you can also receive an email with a lesson summary.

    Yes! We have expert tutors near everyone, becuase all of our services are provided online. You can participate in sessions anywhere there is Wifi.
  • What is Wilson Reading Certification?
    For a professional to have Wilson Reading certification, they must complete a 3-day introductory workshop, master's level coursework, and a 1:1 year-long practicum that is supervised by a Wilson Trainer. All LD Expert reading tutors are fully certified through Wilson.
  • Is online dyslexia tutoring effective?
    Yes! LD Expert collects continuous data about the effectiveness of our programs, and we are proud to say that all of our students experience growth - even up to 4 grade levels!!
  • What are some characteristics of dyslexia?
    -Difficulty with rhyming -Difficulty with rapid naming of letter sounds and names -Difficulty with reading and sounding out words -Tendancy to avoid reading -Letter confusion and reversals -Strength with auditory delivery of information Dyslexia is a chronic condition, but treatment is very effective! Orton-Gillingham based program such as the Wilson Reading System, which is what LD Expert uses, are scientifically proven to be the best treatment for Dyslexia.
  • Are there any apps for dyslexia?
    Yes. There are some apps that work well for students with dyslexia such as Learning Ally and Read & Write (chrome extension). However, explicit and individualized instruction delivered by a certified professional will get you more bang for your buck when it comes to seeing progress with your student.
