About Jerri
Hello! My name is Jerri Polk, and I am excited to be a Dyslexia Practitioner with The LD Expert Team. I currently work as a Dyslexia Interventionist at Dallas Independent School District. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Education from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette and my Master of Social Work from Tulane University. I am a Certified Wilson Dyslexia Practitioner and hold certifications in Early Childhood-6th Grade, English as a Second Language, and Special Education (EC-12). Over the past seven years, I have worked as a dedicated educator, specializing in literacy intervention and student support. I am passionate about helping students build confidence in their reading abilities and develop a lifelong love for learning. It is a joy to play a role in each student’s growth, and I look forward to working with you and your child!
