About Rebecca
Hello! My name is Becky Summers and I am so excited to join the amazing team at LD Expert. I have a true love for teaching students with learning differences, and I have been teaching for over 16 years in both public and private school settings. I have a Bachelor’s degree in both Elementary Education and Special Education from Slippery Rock University in Pennsylvania. Recently, I have taken some time away from the traditional classroom to have more time with my three sons, and I have decided to become certified as a Wilson Reading Instructor. I am most looking forward to being able to share my love of reading with others. I believe that every child has unique and valuable abilities and deserves to be confident in their learning.
